AN ADVOCATE FOR PRACTICAL, COMMON SENSE SOLUTIONS TO MOVE RICHMOND-STEVESTON AND OUR PROVINCE FORWARD
Michelle Mollineaux was born in London, England, and attended high school in the Caribbean for four years, before moving to Canada in 1983 and now lives in Vancouver with her family.
Her corporate career in marketing and business development management spans over 20 years in the high-tech sector, including working with ZE PowerGroup, Layer 7 Technologies (acquired by CA), and TELUS Enterprise Solutions (Formally ISMBC). As an entrepreneur, she co-founded a free social enterprise platform called KoolProjects that allowed people or organizations to showcase their projects from start to finish.
Before working in high-tech, Michelle worked in education as an administrator for various departments, including the International Center for Crime and Punishment at Simon Fraser University and in the non-profit sector, as an executive assistant at Science World. During her tenure at Science World, Michelle developed the award-winning networking program “Opening the Door” for Grade 10–12 students who are interested in pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. “Opening the Door” has received the BC School Superintendents' Award of Recognition and has become a province-wide program.
Michelle has also been a public appointed Board Member for the College of Registered Nurses of BC and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of BC and was the first, and only person to hold both positions at the same time.
More recently, Michelle was named "Top 10 Inspiring Women Leaders - 2022" by Industry Era Magazine.
On a social responsibility level, her passion is finding and implementing real solutions for:
- Affordability and Livability which includes reducing taxes
- Addressing the environmental and climate crisis
- Growing and building community economic development
- Supporting Businesses, High Tech and Entrepreneurs
- Supporting children and youth at risk
- Support for seniors and differently-abled citizens

TAX RECEIPT INFORMATION
In 2023, individuals cannot contribute more than $1,401.40 in a calendar year to any political party, its riding associations, and its candidates.
The tax credit is based on the total amount of all your contributions to registered BC political parties this year:
75% of contributions up to $100
50% of contributions between $100 and $550
33% of contributions between $550 and $1150
The maximum annual tax credit is $500.
